Svava gained her accountancy qualification from San Francisco State University and took on her first role as financial controller at Palamon Capital Partners. She joined Marble Bar Asset Management as financial controller in 2004, before becoming Personal Accountant and Portfolio Investment Manager to Gilad Hayeem, then Managing Partner and CEO. After relocating back home to Iceland, Svava set up Arnason and Co, providing support and advice to family offices, including investor relations, restructuring and financial planning and portfolio management.
